How much is your agency fee to recruit a Chief of Staff?

It depends on the salary and package offered.

What is the recruitment process?

It all starts with a simple phone call to our lovely EST10 team. We will ask you what you’re after and help you identify which approach is best for you.

Then, if you are looking for a temp ASAP, we’ll start the process right then and there. Or, if you want a long-term placement, we’ll explain our service options as outlined in the question above.

What happens if the Chief of Staff you send does not work out?

We are so confident about our chief of staff recruitment process that our guarantees far exceed the industry standards.

If you are not completely delighted with your permanent chief of staff hire within their first three months, we’ll replace the role at no charge.

And if you are even slightly unhappy with your temp placement within their first eight hours, again we’ll replace them at no cost. That’s no cost for the first temp placement and no cost for the replacement temporary’s first day. (That’s double the industry standard period.)

In short, we are not happy with the placement unless you’re happy about it too.

What personal qualities should I look for in a Chief of Staff?

Your chief of staff is a key and trusted member of the team, often acting as confidante to the CEO and the main point of contact between staff.

That means qualities to look for in a chief of staff include:

  • Proven leadership qualities to be seen as a leader within the business
  • High EQ and strong social perceptiveness in dealing with staff
  • An ability to build relationships at all levels, across functions and with key stakeholders
  • Deadline driven approach with effective project management skills
  • Analytically minded with a strategic focus
Why should EST10 recruit a Chief of Staff for me?

We know where to find the best chief of staff and know what talent looks like. We also recognise potential and that’s key in a market like this!

The secret is out that a strong chief of staff is the key to highly successful leaders. But with demand increasing, it can be time-consuming to recruit the chief of staff roles.

So, what can you do? Trust us to find the perfect chief of staff for you!

What is the difference between a Chief of Staff to CEO and an EA to CEO?

The EA to CEO role tends to have a logistics focus with tasks including travel booking and diary management. In contrast, the chief of staff role has a more strategic focus. Not sure if it is an EA you need? Have a look at the executive assistant role.

Can you find a Chief of Staff who ‘gets me’?

This is our specialty, and it is how EST10 is different. Finding a candidate who has the right skills is just the beginning.

Where we excel is by matching your personality and working style with your new chief of staff. We take time to get to know both you and the candidates, so we can find the right person. We’ll find you someone who’s easy to work with and who’ll increase your productivity right away. And if you like, we can even utilise psychometric testing as a tool in matching for both of you!

Does EST10 only recruit Chief of Staff roles in the Sydney CBD?

We recruit for businesses with locations that range from the Sydney CBD to Parramatta, North Sydney, Ryde, Sutherland Shire, Western Sydney and beyond.

You can also call on us to help you find talent in Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, New Zealand and London.
