Detailed Job Description:

  • Lead workplace operations for a high-performing financial services business
  • Broad role spanning office management, events, facilities, and people leadership
  • Premium CBD offices | Visible role with executive exposure

What makes this company unique?

  • This is one of those roles where you’ll quickly become the person everyone knows and relies on
  • You’ll have a seat at the table with senior leaders while still being closely connected to the wider business
  • The role offers a great mix of leadership, ownership, and hands-on involvement – perfect for someone who enjoys variety and likes to stay close to the action
  • You’ll be trusted to take the lead, make decisions, and continuously look for ways to improve how things are done
  • The business has a strong, down-to-earth culture where people genuinely enjoy working together and take pride in what they do
  • If you love being the person who keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes, you’ll find this role incredibly rewarding

What is unique about you?

  • You’re someone who genuinely enjoys being at the centre of a business and get a lot of satisfaction from knowing things are running smoothly because you’re there
  • You have a knack for spotting issues before they become problems and are always thinking a few steps ahead
  • You’re highly organised and love bringing structure to moving parts, but you’re also flexible enough to adapt when priorities change
  • You’re a natural leader who enjoys supporting and developing others, creating a team culture that is collaborative, accountable, and genuinely enjoyable to be part of
  • You take ownership of your work and don’t wait to be asked; if something needs attention, you’re already onto it
  • You’re comfortable juggling a broad range of responsibilities and enjoy the variety that comes with no two days looking exactly the same
  • You have a practical, hands-on approach and aren’t afraid to jump in wherever needed, whether that’s supporting a major business event, solving an operational issue, or helping the team through a busy period
  • Most importantly, you’re someone who combines professionalism with warmth; people trust you, enjoy working with you, and know they can rely on you

A snapshot of your role…

  • Be the driving force behind the day-to-day running of a busy and professional CBD office
  • Lead and support a small national team while fostering a positive and high-performing culture
  • Coordinate everything from workplace initiatives and business events through to operational projects and improvements

  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, service providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure everything runs seamlessly
  • Act as the go-to person for all things office operations, stepping in wherever needed to keep things moving
