Detailed Job Description:

  • $33 per hour + superannuation
  • A quick paced administration role for a detail orientated data driven person that is good with numbers!
  • 3-month temporary contract | Sydney South location with parking available | 8AM – 4PM days!

As a vital member of this six-person, Accounts Payable team, your role will involve supporting key data entry, administrative functions, and processing large invoices. With the company’s commitment to meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for their national retailers, this position presents an ideal opportunity for individuals who thrive in handling repetitive tasks, have a passion for working with data, and enjoy engaging with technical systems and processes. Situated in Sydney’s southern suburbs, this temporary position offers the convenience of ample parking and nearby public transport options. Ideal for candidates available immediately, it presents an opportunity to contribute to the company’s operations for a three-month duration in the lead up to end of financial year!

As you join this department of six, you’ll collaborate closely with a diverse range of senior finance professionals and those undergoing training. If you thrive on repetitive tasks, excel in meticulous attention to detail, and possess proficiency in spreadsheet management, we have an exciting opportunity tailored for you. Moreover, if you bring experience in working with systems, adept at navigating both manual and automated processes, stepping into this role will be seamless for you. Considering the location, having a vehicle could be ideal for convenience, but if you rely on public transport, everything is within close walking distance, ensuring easy accessibility to the workplace.

A snapshot of your role…

  • Focus on processing daily and weekly invoices through our internal system, leveraging automated task flows.
  • Maintain the integrity of our database by accurately inputting and updating customer information, interactions, and transactions.
  • Correct errors, updating information, or reconciling discrepancies related to returned items or services

 

  • Provide support for booking delivery and return items whenever the team encounters overflow or increased demand
  • Enter financial transactions into accounting software or spreadsheets with accuracy and attention to detail
