Detailed Job Description:

  • Up to $135,000 + Superannuation
  • Wollongong location

What makes this company unique?

This global organisation is driven by a progressive and customer-centric strategy, with operations spanning a diverse multinational portfolio. The CEO, based out of the satellite office in Wollongong, is a commercially minded and visionary leader who oversees this extensive remit. With frequent international travel and periodic visits to Sydney, their focus is on driving growth, enhancing client experience, and ensuring agility in an ever-expanding organisation.

As a key partner to this dynamic CEO, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of their ambitious vision. Their work style is fast-paced, strategic, and deeply committed to delivering impactful outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a leader who values collaboration, innovation, and a relentless focus on achieving excellence.

Join a global team where your contributions will directly influence growth and innovation, helping to shape the future of an organisation committed to delivering outstanding results and customer experiences.

What is unique about you?

With a proven track record of supporting senior executives, you will seamlessly adapt as the trusted partner to this CEO. As the Executive Officer, your role will extend beyond traditional support, positioning you as a strategic partner who provides exceptional guidance on key projects and initiatives driven by the Office of the CEO. Your prior experience supporting a CEO at a high level has equipped you with a deep understanding of the complexities involved in managing multiple senior stakeholders across time zones. Your meticulous attention to detail ensures that every trip is planned end-to-end, with comprehensive itineraries, briefing documents, and notes meticulously prepared to maximise the CEO’s time and impact.

Collaboration will be central to your success. Working closely with the Executive Assistant, who will manage the logistical aspects such as bookings, you will form a united team to ensure the CEO is fully supported and operating at their peak efficiency. Years of experience in executive support have honed your exceptional communication skills to a level where your written work mirrors the CEO’s voice with precision and professionalism. You are adept at preparing board packs, drafting papers, and driving coordination among the EA team to ensure all executives meet their deadlines effectively.

Your leadership experience and people management skills allow you to set the standard for quality and work output. As an inspiring leader, you embody a “lead by example” mentality, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration within your team. This dynamic opportunity is ideal for an accomplished Executive Officer ready to step into a pivotal role, hitting the ground running and making an immediate impact.

A snapshot of your role…

  • Manage complex scheduling across multiple time zones for global and domestic travel, ensuring end-to-end planning, including logistical arrangements, preparation of detailed itineraries, and creation of comprehensive briefing documents.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to the EA team, leveraging previous management experience to create a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimise the efficiency and effectiveness of the Office of the CEO. Ensure the CEO’s office operates with precision, agility, and a customer-first focus, contributing to the organisation’s progressive and growth-oriented mission.

  • Conduct in-depth research and compile relevant information to ensure the CEO is thoroughly prepared for internal and external stakeholder engagements, as well as executive meetings. This includes gathering background and organising insights into concise and actionable briefing documents to support informed decision-making and effective communication.
  • Oversee and manage the CEO’s communications by implementing a structured triage process to prioritise, filter, and address incoming messages. Ensure high-priority matters are escalated promptly while handling routine communications independently and efficiently.
