Executive Assistant to CEO and CFO

Detailed Job Description:

  • $170,000 + super
  • Investment firm
  • Sydney CBD | Fully office-based

What makes this company unique?

  • This is an established and highly successful investment firm with a strong reputation in its market
  • You’ll support two exceptionally capable senior executives who value great support and know how to work in true partnership with an EA
  • The business is sophisticated and high-performing, but without unnecessary hierarchy or corporate red tape
  • You’ll have visibility across major business priorities, senior leadership discussions, and key stakeholder relationships
  • There is a real sense of trust here – you’ll be given autonomy and the space to make decisions
  • The environment is polished and professional, while still being warm, personable, and down-to-earth
  • You’ll work alongside smart, commercially minded people who are genuinely invested in doing things well
  • This is the kind of role where an exceptional EA can become an invaluable part of the leadership team

What is unique about you?

  • You’re an accomplished Executive Assistant who has operated at CEO, C-suite, or equivalent level
  • You have excellent judgement and instinctively know what needs your attention, what can wait, and what can be handled without escalation
  • You’re calm, polished, and incredibly capable, even when priorities shift or the pressure is on
  • You understand that senior EA support is about far more than managing a diary – you anticipate, problem-solve, and stay several steps ahead
  • You’re confident communicating with senior executives, investors, advisers, and external stakeholders
  • Discretion comes naturally to you, and you’re comfortable working with highly confidential and commercially sensitive information
  • You take real pride in being organised and thorough, and nothing slips through the cracks
  • Most importantly, you enjoy being a true right hand and building long-term partnerships with the executives you support

A snapshot of your role…

  • Own two complex executive diaries, balancing competing priorities and protecting the CEO and CFO’s time
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel, meetings, itineraries, and changing logistics with exceptional attention to detail
  • Act as a key point of contact for senior internal and external stakeholders, managing communication with confidence and discretion

  • Provide occasional personal support, stepping in on ad hoc requests and private arrangements when needed
  • Coordinate leadership meetings, papers, presentations and confidential documentation across key business matters
  • Anticipate what’s coming next, solve problems before they reach your executives, and keep two demanding offices running seamlessly

This role will be placed quickly, don’t hesitate!
