Detailed Job Description:

  • $110,000 to $130,000 + Superannuation – Commensurate with experience

The CEO is seeking a partnership with an Executive Assistant who can provide steadfast support, fostering a successful, long-term relationship that extends beyond the confines of the organisation. What is unique about you?

As an experienced C-suite EA, you will bring a wealth of expertise in supporting CEOs, understanding the intricacies and challenges inherent in this role. Your capacity to anticipate and proactively address issues will distinguish you, as this position requires initiative rather than just following instructions. Your comprehensive understanding of the business and political landscape equips you to engage with influential figures within this sphere. Furthermore, your adeptness at navigating complex organisational structures and your track record of successfully managing high-pressure situations will be invaluable assets in this role.

While supporting a senior industry figure, the organisation is renowned for its hands-on approach, expecting the same commitment from all staff regardless of their position. The ability to adapt to any task, irrespective of its magnitude, is highly valued, and possessing expertise in both large corporations and smaller enterprises would represent an ideal balance. A snapshot of your role…

  • Harness your scheduling prowess to efficiently navigate multiple conflicting meetings. Identify internal and external stakeholders, prioritize tasks, and delegate with discretion, ensuring that all parties receive the attention and care
  • Execute and coordinate various interstate travel requests, crafting comprehensive travel itineraries, and meticulously ensuring the provision of client packs and preparation documents
  • Support the wider Executive Leadership Team by coordinating board and committee meetings, as well as preparing papers and taking minutes

 

  • Collaborate across the organisation, liaising with departments and their EA counterparts, such as marketing, HR, and others, to facilitate key projects and initiatives from the CEO
  • Manage correspondence and communications, including emails, phone calls, and other inquiries, on behalf of the CEO
