Executive Assistant/Office Manager

Detailed Job Description:

  • A true 50/50 role blending Executive Assistant and Office Management
  • Lead the day-to-day running of a busy office and manage the Receptionist
  • Join a successful property business supporting a brilliant Managing Director

What makes this company unique?

  • With a strong reputation in the property industry, this is a business that combines professionalism with a genuinely down-to-earth culture
  • You’ll work closely with an approachable Managing Director who genuinely values having a trusted right-hand person and gives you the autonomy to run with things
  • This isn’t a role where you’re sitting behind a desk managing diaries all day; you’ll have real ownership of the office and be trusted to make decisions that improve how the business operates
  • You’ll lead the day-to-day running of a polished, professional workplace where creating a positive experience for both employees and visitors is a real priority
  • The role offers plenty of variety, combining high-level executive support, office management, and people management into one rewarding position
  • You’ll be joining a stable, well-established business with a collaborative team and a culture built on respect, accountability, and getting things done

What is unique about you?

  • You’re an experienced Executive Assistant or Office Manager who enjoys being the person everyone relies on
  • You’ve managed or mentored people before and genuinely enjoy helping others succeed
  • You love creating organised, well-run workplaces and naturally notice opportunities to improve processes
  • You thrive in busy environments where you’re constantly switching between supporting senior leaders, managing the office, and solving problems
  • You’re confident dealing with people at every level and have a calm, approachable leadership style
  • You take ownership, use your initiative, and don’t wait to be asked before jumping in
  • You’re highly organised, commercially minded, and enjoy having a role where no two days look the same

A snapshot of your role…

  • Provide proactive Executive Assistant support to the Managing Director, managing a busy diary, inbox, travel, meetings and confidential correspondence
  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the office, ensuring everything operates smoothly and employees have everything they need to do their best work
  • Lead, mentor and support the Receptionist, providing guidance, coaching and oversight of the front-of-house function

  • Coordinate facilities, suppliers, office projects, events, budgets and workplace initiatives while continuously improving systems and processes
  • Act as the go-to person across the business, balancing executive support with operational leadership and keeping everything running seamlessly behind the scenes
